Jonathan Doughty appointed to Board at Kew Gardens

Coverpoint were appointed in 2009 to provide strategic advice to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew. After a short consultation period with the Client team lead by Joni Marks, Coverpoint tendered the Contract. The process was fully compliant with the OGC guidelines and OJEU procedures.
By Christmas 2009 the Tender process was nearly complete. Site visits took place over the break and into the New Year. The final decision was made and Peyton and Byrne were appointed to operate the day visitor foodservice. Contract handover took place early in 2010 and sales have already increased over the Summer season.
Joanthan Doughty has subsequently been asked to join the Board of the Enterprises Company that looks after the commercial activities at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
